A strong profile can get you interested in HEC, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you have a clear MBA story yet.
One thing worth checking while working on your application is whether your reasons actually connect.
Why do you need an MBA at this point in your career?
Why HEC, specifically?
And perhaps the bigger question: why does HEC Paris and its location make sense for what you want to do after the MBA?
For example, if you’re interested in consulting, luxury, entrepreneurship, finance, tech or another field, it’s easy to list HEC resources that sound relevant. The harder part is explaining why those opportunities matter for your particular career path.
A few questions I’d ask myself before submitting:
