What is the best strategy to answer this question.
I sincerely apologise if this has been addressed earlier. I frankly couldnt locate any such discussion. PLease feel free to point me to the right link if you think I have missed it.
Forgot to mention. I am interviewing with HKU on the 22nd, so I would really appreciate it if you could share your thoughts about answering this question.
I think the safest answer to this question is name a few schools you are considering that are similar to the one you are applying to. In other words, I would name schools from the same or similar cluster that are in the same region as that school. For example, if one were applying to Columbia in the US, one might mention that you are considering school such as Wharton and NYU that are of similar stature and located in the same general region.
