Hi
ysob,
Thank you for posting. The additional information section of the application is not a requirement. People have used this section to address any extenuating circumstances that might have challenged their experiences, be that academically and/or personally (for example, a semester of low GPA, parent fell ill and the applicant had to take on a full-time job to help the family, etc). This is an optional section and should be used with caution. You want to use this section only if there is additional information the admissions committee needs to know about your profile, and there is no other section in which you can address the topic. In other words, leave this section blank, unless the information you include can add value to your overall application/profile. I hope this helps.
Good luck!

Currently working through the 2+2 app and am stumped on the section regarding additional information you can provide. What have people used this section for in the past? Is it not recommended to leave this blank? Not sure if I have much color to add that hasn't already been addressed in other parts of the application.
