folks... I am planning to apply in R1. I am a techie...how should the resume be presented. I am sure not a lot will understand the tech jargon. Pls. suggest tips on creating the resume.

Should we include the part-time employment and the summer-internships too in the resume?

Spot on. They won't understand the technical jargon and honestly, I'm pretty sure they don't care. I'm from a technical background too and I am *trying* to emphasize my role rather than my position. Hope that helped!

same here, avoid tech jargon at all costs. Talk about your leadership experiences, impact (in terms of $$ value, percentage increase, time saved, impact generated, etc), and team work abilities rather than how good of a C++ coder you are.
