the healthcare industry is, to understate it a little bit, very healthy in Canada (pun intended?)
with the aging population and booming biotech, there are tons of opportunities here.... if you know where to find them.
in my experience, only major healthcare firms come recruit. and pharma companies might come present, but they're not actually actively recruiting. it's weird.
as for majors, or specializations, or streams.... none of it matters. it doesn't show up on your diploma or transcript (I don't think). and employers don't really care. they're more interested in what you took. I mean it's fine if the courses you choose end up giving you a major, but choose your courses for their material and potential learning than to get that designation. for example, I picked courses I thought were interesting, but it just happens that these courses gave me a healthcare major and a strategy major. but no one pays any heed to it.
p.s. does anyone know how to change my title? I'm no longer a 'current student' since I've graduated lol
