Hi guys,
What I love from this forum is that I enjoy studying and reading many stories that are posted here really help me move forward and keep doing it. I noticed in many GMAT stories staying healty (EATING WELL and EXCERCISING) seem to be a must. However I am not well informed enough on these topics.
Can anyone provide me general advise?
My specific questions if you can include an answer to are:
-How many hours a day should someone excercise
-What kind of food (i.e: high protein) should someone eat during study
Hi
Fran94,
- An hour a day would be perfect, I don't have the luxury to exercise everyday, I just go jogging 2-3 times a week.
- As for the diet, a balanced diet where you eat more protein and legume and some carbohydrates, and don't forget fruits, try as much as possible to minimize sugar and caffeine, as they increase stress. Eat Nuts especially walnuts and fish especially Salmon; they are good in maintaining the brain function and improving long-term and short-term memory.
If I may add, try to play mind games such as suduko and rubix cube; maybe chess. Also practicing yoga and meditation is very helpful, they will increase your concentration level and keep stress minimal
Enjoy your GMAT journey
