Hi everyone I’m new here so I hope this is the right forum’s section. Do u think I have any chance getting into HEC Paris (for the International Finance Master or the Economics and Finance program? My profile:
24 yrs, Chinese but based in Spain, I’m currently working in a consulting company and have almost 2 years of experience. I also have a internaship experience and have had volunteered several summers.
GPA 8,44/10 using Spanish grading system. Also had an Erasmus experience in Warwick Business School for 6 months.
GMAT 640...
My biggest pain is the GMAT score. I have been studying for it by my own and while working for 3-4 months now but my performance in the exam is not excellent.
Please tell what you think and if u have any other suggestions regarding universities where I could apply.

We agree with the previous post that a GMAT score of 640 may make it really tough for HEC Paris MiF. It's arguably the one objective factor in the process (GPA can vary), so it's hard to argue against the score, fairly or not. There are always exceptions made, but those are for unusual circumstances. I'm not sure that would be the case here.
Do you have time to retake the exam before applying? If not, do you have other programs you can consider?
