Hello,
First, both schools have a solide reputation and I don't think there is a bad choice.
If you want to work in France, I would choose HEC as it is the top business school in the country and very well ranked.
If you want an intentional career, especially outside Europe, I would choose Columbia. I don't think you will ever meet someone who has never heard of Columbia. While HEC is not that famous outside Europe. Hence, another key point to consider is whether you talk French, as it is very important to work in France and therefore choose HEC.
In term of course quality, I don't really know but I think both schools should have interesting courses.

Hello,
I would like to have your opinion on this choice. I was accepted to the Master in Management at HEC Paris (ranked MIM in Europe) and to a Master in Technology Management (School of professional studies) at Columbia University in New York.
I have a hard time choosing. HEC is very well known in Europe and the Master in Management is the flagship program of this school. The master in Technology Management at Columbia is not part of the business school that offers MBAs (need 2+ years of experience, which I did not have). The MiM at HEC is in two years, with a specialization in the second year and exchanges abroad. The master in Technology Management lasts 1 year.
In terms of recognition, course quality and career opportunities, which program would you recommend?
Many thanks
