HELLO! - GMAT in 2 DAYS! [#permalink] New post   28 Aug 2006, 22:38
Hello everyone

Firstly, thank you in advance for all your responses. Its these boards that give me the confidence and inspiration.

I am rewriting the GMAT once more ... in 2 days... I scored a 530 last time with a very low verbal score. Even now, in the Kaplan CAT's, I am scoring 540, Q31, V26. My main error points are SC and RC. Any quick tips will help!

Also, if you can please tell me how the CAT for KAPlan premier CD's compare to the actual?

If you have not improved, why are you retaking it? Whats the point of getting the same score again?

Postpone, study then retake!

Kaplan Tests are a WASTE. GMAT Prep is the best indicator of your current level. How much are u scoring in that?

I am retaking it because its the last chance I have to write to be considered for 2006 entrance for Western.

Also, I was scoring higher on the KAPLAN tests and people say that usually suggests that you will do better on the real thing?

I just did the GMAT prep... and got 590....., will do another two practice before Thursday morning and watch my mistakes carefully!

Hi everyone

I scored a 570 on my GMAT. My verbal went from 21 to 30 from the last test but my math dropped from 42 to 38. Hence, I got below 600. If my Math had stayed consistent, I would have been over 600 easy. I am hoping the university sees this and still gives me admission. I am applying to Western for the Fall session.

Thanks for all your help. I just hope I do not have to write this test again. Its very draining!

Hey Rahul,

I have seen posts from folks who have given GMAT multiple times until they scored to their satisfaction.

If you are not in any urgency, study & take the GMAT again. You definitely have the will power to score better!
