Hi Scott, thanks for your reply. How much time do you think should I invest before taking a retest.

What should be the dos and donts. How do you think its achievable.

Please guide..

I am also a chartered accountant and I feel you don't need a math background to score a Q49-51. I feel you should ensure that you have your basics down cold, do regular practice, maintain an error log and review (learn) from your mistakes. I also feel you can improve your Verbal score as well.

No one can answer this question for you as to how much time it will take to improve from 650 to 700 but surely looking at the case facts 20 days looks on the lower side. Give your best shot and rest leave on fate.

All the best!

Can 0% in geometry be one of the reasons of a huge score drop in quants?

Hi sjain28,

I'm sorry to hear that Test Day did not turn out better. You have made some really nice improvements to your overall GMAT Score over the course of your studies though. Before we discuss the data in your ESR, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) On what dates did you take each of your Official GMATs and what were the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH?
2) How long did you study before each of your Official GMATs?
3) What study materials have you used over the course of ALL of your studies? What "brands" of practice CATs/mocks have you used?
4) What application deadlines are you facing?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Perhaps, just concentrate on the mba application first. 620 is fine and you have worked in big 4.

Hi sjain28,

Although it’s difficult to tell you the exact amount of time you may need, I think that two months sounds reasonable. Regarding your other questions, are you looking for some general advice on how to improve your quant and verbal skills?
