Hi All,
I joined Knewton about a month ago and took their diagnostic GMAT test. My score was a pretty awful
480 (Q25, V31). I have now been trying to juggle work and study for the past month (putting in about 2 hours a day during the week, and c.6 hours per day on the weekend), and attending all Knewton classes. I too their 1st practice GMAT test and came out with a score of
560 (Q35, 44% ; V34, 72%). I found the questions quite a bit harder than any of the practice problems from the OG and the Knewton classes, which caught me a little off guard, and I had to guess around 8 of the questions in the Quant section (of which I guessed 50% correctly). I have exactly 1 month to go until my official GMAT, and I just wanted anyone's opinion as to whether I am on track for a 700+ GMAT score. I do plan to ramp up the studying in the 2 weeks prior to the exam (taking 2 weeks off work), so should be able to get 8-10 hours in per day.
Am I being realistic here? The reason I am targeting this score is that I am applying in the 3rd round for Stanford or Harvard, and I think anything under 700 will essentially rule me out of the picture from the out-set.
ANY views or suggestions most gratefully received.
Thanks
Tatham
