Merage is 54, so better but not sure how meaningful it is going from 82 to 74. There is likely some difference between 82 and 54 (Merage) but even that program does not appear to be standing out from the crowd too much.

My guess at this point it is fine to attend any 3 of those programs. They still will make a difference in your career. If you are a US Citizen and have no issues with work authorization, there are fewer pressures, and even fewer if you have a good network or support net in the SoCal area to network and leverage connections. Chapman is a fairly well know school for its Film and other programs so it does have some recognition on the resume.

I think at this point You want to chat with as many students as you can locate. Perhaps visit the campus again and ask to be introduced to a few folks who are graduating soon and ask where they did their internships or how job search is going. What was they wished they knew?

Thanks for the help. I'm really struggling because I fell they are all good schools, but since I have a pretty good scholarship for Chapman I am leaning towards them. The problem is that I am afraid I might miss out on something choosing a smaller school.

Of the schools you have outlined I would choose UCI, but as stated above these schools especially the others will not have a drastic impact on your career opportunities especially if you are looking to career switch. Were these the only schools you applied to? Any info you can share on your profile?

I'm Brazilian, but my sister is American. I'm looking to stay in the US after my MBA.
I have a bachelors in economics with a 3.6 gpa. I also have a M.Sc. in Economics with a 3.7 gpa. Both in Brazil.
I took the gmat only once, got a 660.
As per work experience, I've owned my own business in Brazil for the last couple of years.

I also applied to UC Davis and USC. I have been called for an interview at Davis (haven't done it yet). I haven't heard anything back from USC ( I did start my applications late).

Why do you think these universities won't have a drastic impact on my career? I understand that they or not on the same level as Stanford or UCLA but they are all top 100 universities. My main goal is to network in the US so I can kickstart a new career here.

Thanks!
