So, you have made some good progress so far. Now, you need to keep increasing your quant and verbal scores.
In quant, the main thing you can do is keep mastering one topic at a time. In other words, at this point, you're probably pretty strong in some topics and not so strong in others, and the more topics you're strong in, the higher you'll score in quant. So, work on becoming stronger in one topic at a time to drive your expected score up point by point.
To master a quant topic, first review the relevant concepts, then practice untimed until you're achieving high accuracy: Easy around 100%, Medium 85%+, Hard 70%+. Then, work on answering the questions at test pace. Achieving high accuracy before you work on speed is key. If you time yourself before you achieve high accuracy, it will take forever to learn.
Also, you can increase your quant score by improving your overall accuracy and reducing the number of careless errors you make. For insights into how to do so, see this post.
Improving Your Accuracy on the GMATRegarding verbal, increasing your verbal score takes doing the following three things:
- filling gaps in concept knowledge
- learning strategies and techniques for answering verbal questions.
- practicing
In verbal also, you should practice untimed to achieve high accuracy before you answer questions timed, and any time you miss a question, determine why you missed it and address whatever issue caused you to miss it.
For a detailed discussion of how to increase your verbal score, see this post.
