I just finished my first official gmat and the provisional score was to my surprise a score of 460.
I did four mock exams within four months. My first one was in January and I scored without any previous experience a 500 (Q33,V26).
My second one was in March with 540 (Q34,V30).
Third one in April: 570 (Q39, V29)
And my last one in May: 600 (Q44,V30)
To my surprise, my score today was a 460. Even worse than I would have theoretically scored without any exercise.
I had at no time in the exam the feeling that I was performing bad. I did manage to calculate almost every single task in the quant part.
While I did have a feeling that I rushed a bit more through verbal than usual. I did not expect to get a Q21 in Verbal today neither a Q31 in quant.
What could have gone wrong. How should I proceed?
Most unis application deadline closes soon, and this was kind of my last chance to apply to most of them.
A score of 460 would, as far as I know, hinder my application in every single way possible.
