Hi everyone! My name is Silvia, I'm from Italy and I really need some advice.
I've been preparing for the test for a while now, I would say around 3 months and half and I have seen almost no progress on my score.
I've scored 440 on all the 3 mocktests I've done, at this point I really don't know what to do and most importantly I don't know how to improve my score.
On my last test I scored 19/36 on Verbal and 15/31 on Quant. I would say that the part in which I struggle the most is Quant, I've never been a pro in math and I'm very much behind on basic preparation. For these months I've been preparing with TTP and I feel that I've improved, but the lenght of the course is too much and I still miss a lot of the basics. I feel that I'm not that bad with Verbal, what I see myself struggling in is self-doubt (which makes me go slow) and anxiety when I read RC passages, I studied all the topics and I finished the whole session on the TTP course.
I cannot say that I haven't seen any improvements at all, I've improved with time management in the Verbal Section, but that alone is not gonna cut it.
The official test is gonna be on the 25th of October, so I don't have much time to improve, but I'm not gonna give up. I really would like to see some kind of improvement and at least get 510, which is the minimum score that Bocconi requiers in order to be accepted in the course that I'm interested in.
My question is: on which part should I focus now? Quant or Verbal?
I've talked to some people already and they've told me that the fastest way to improve is to study the basics that I'm missing on Quant. While I feel that they're right I still think that I should review what I've learned in Verbal. Should I leave RC behind and try to improve SC and CR?
Thanks a lot!
