Guys I am really in a dilemma and hope that you people can help me out
First let me tell about myself. I am Asian student(not Indian/not Chinese) with 710 gmat (48Q, 40 V), 3.2 undergrad GPA and 2 year full time job experience, all in my home country. I have an engineering background from best college from my home country but I don’t think its reputation will help me out while applying for US business school. Currently I am doing MBA at my home country but I really want to get into US business school for MSF/MFin. But as far as I have found, these professional programs in US are too costly, which I can’t afford. So I am looking for some Tier 3 school which will provide me full-tuition and some assistantship to cover living expense. I know it’s too hard to find free ride in US business school but are there any chances?
Also getting job after graduation is major factor for me, because if I don’t secure any job post graduation than I will have no option but to return back to my home country with extra degree that’s of no use here. Starting salary isn’t a major concern for me, any back-office entry level job will do fine. I am looking for those colleges which are at least locally reputed. So guys if you have any information that might help me, please share. I am really stressed right now because if I don’t find schools with funding than all this my effort for GMAT will go in vain.
