I received an email stating that my GMAT Focus Edition Test via Test Centre has been cancelled. The email said that it will take one business day to get things sorted out from their end. Today is Friday (31st May 2024), my exam was scheduled on Monday (3rd June 2024) at 11 AM. I'm afraid that the change will not be reflected before my exam and it will show that I have missed the exam. If I try to reschedule my exam from the GMAT portal it shows that I have to pay USD 195 rescheduling fee. I've already reached out to MBA.com customer support and also emailed GMATCandidateServicesAPAC@pearson.com. Also because it is Friday night all I can't call the customer support numbers as the offices have already shut down. Please let me know how to proceed. Attaching the screenshot of the email that I received:

Ugh. Sorry about this. It seems something may have happened last minute.
This is super disruptive to the test takers and it seems to happen rarely but it does happen. Most often it seems to be the situation when the test center is closed or out of commission for some reason.
And their system is not designed to handle these request so it will show a huge change fee if you attempt to change it and my suggestion would be not to change it because it’s a big pain in the butt to then get the money back if you pay the change fee…
The email says do not reply and all that good customer support stuff. It’s really annoying but there’s usually a good reason for this why they could not accommodate.
You can try calling the US number. I think they will try to shift you to the Asia-Pacific group but I think we have a good enough reason to try to talk to someone in the US support.

By the way, you will not get any penalty of any kind if you missed the exam. Schools will never find out about it and it will change absolutely nothing if you don’t show up for the test.
