Hi.
I gave my GMAT FE exam and scored 645.
I an engineer female
4 years of work ex in automobile sector
(2.5 years in two wheeler as area manager & 1.5 with 4 wheeler in CX planning and strategy)
I am a gold medalist of my college (Btech in Mechanical Engineering)
With 10th and 12th from ICSE & ISC board respectively and scores are 89% and 93% in boards
What are my chances of getting into ISB?
Should I apply in R1

- Your overall profile is competitive-gold-medalist BTech, 4 yrs auto (line leadership + CX strategy), female candidate; strong if you show hard results and people leadership.
- Your GMAT of 645 is admissible but not standout for the engineer pool. If you can raise to 665+ without hurting app quality, do it; otherwise apply R1 now and consider a quick retake to update.
- In your app emphasize territory & P&L metrics (volume/market share/collections), cross-functional influence, team coaching, any EV/analytics projects.
- Have a clear ISB-aligned post-MBA goal (mobility/product/CX), pick a recommender who saw your promotion & impact, and add one owned community/mentorship initiative to show leadership beyond role.
