Hi, I wanna buy one set of CAT tests from Kaplan or Manhattan. Which one should I choose?
Which one is most close to the real GMAT? My target is 700+, so I really need one of them to help me polish up me skills.

Appreciate your advice!

I am currently taking the Kaplan Online course and have to say that it's really good. Kaplan is more concentrated on strategies or better and quicker ways to solve a question. On the other hand Manhattan is more concentrated on basic concepts. Depends on, what are you looking to get out of this course.

Really! You are also taking Kaplan courses? But I just wanna buy the online tests. Have you taken one of them before? Do they seem difficult enough?

I believe, if you just want to get access to KAPLAN Q bank and tests then it's $99. The tests are CAT (adaptive) so the difficulty adjusts according to your level. I would highly recommend them. It's good practice. When are you looking to give GMAT?

I'll take GMAT in January. Can I only buy the tests? I don't think I need extra Q test band.

hello,

Both provide good cats. However manhattan may be a touch better because both the quant and verbal questions of manhattan cats are good. Kaplan cats have very good and challenging verbal questions but pretty easy quant questions. To buy or get access to manhattan cats you just need to buy any one of their 8 basic guides. to get access to kaplan cats you just need to buy kaplan premier book. I will suggest buy one of the book (kaplan or manhattan) and give the cats; if you are satisfied with your mock test scores then good else if you need more practice buy the other cat and give them too. Also buying entire course or cats independently will cost you much more than buying one book and you will get the same number of cats. so the best way to get access to cats is buy a book (either 1 of the basic guide of manhattan or kaplan premier)

yes buying any one of the 8 basic guides of manhattan will give you access to all six manhattan cats. You don't need to buy all the 8 books, but remember that only the 8 basic guides of manhattan come with access to cats and not the supplement guides of manhattan. you can even get access to cat if you buy a kindle edition of any of the manhattan basic gudies. (costs $11 only)
