Hi All,
Its nice to be a part of this forum,so informative and helpful.Kudos to people who are taking care of this.
I am new to this forum.I am planning to take up the exam by Feb/Mar 2012.Currently i have 15 months of work experience.By Aug 2012 i will have 2 years of work experience.My primary choice would be MBA in Operations,secondary being Marketing.
I have loads of stuff flooded in my mind.I have put across couple of them here.It would be really great if you guys can help me out.

- What is the ideal work experience most b-schools expect for an Executive MBA?
If i write my GMAT by Feb/Mar 2012.Can i apply for schools later with the same score assuming that i get a decent score? The reason i want to write by Feb/Mar is that i am taking up coaching and i will be completing my coaching by Dec 2011.I want to take up the exam while the class room work remains fresh in my mind.

It might be better if you apply for 2013 intake. You will have 3 years experience by that time. Most of the top schools look for extra ordinary achievements if you have less experience. Go through basic parameters (GMAT, age, experience, etc) of top schools at US news, FT, BW rankings. It is best place to start your research. Good luck!

As you'll be having 2 years of work experience by 2012, you can very well apply for a normal 2-year program rather than the executive program as they require anywhere between 2 and 5 years of experience, sometimes more than that.
Most 2-year programs require you to have some minimal amount of work experience. In case you have less work experience, you can compensate it with a good profile (GMAT score, academics, achievements, activities, etc). You can shortlist the B-schools you are interested in and then research those to find out specific requirements such as age, work experience, profile, etc.
I'd recommend you concentrate on your GMAT first and then towards the end of your preparation (or may be after you have appeared for the GMAT), research on what programs you are interested in and what colleges suit you.
