Mark4124,
I am thinking about taking the powerscore course that you took. Can you please tell me how helpful it was for you? I haven't read too much about it. Thanks.

Powerscore is ok for a mid 600 score... Wouldn't recommend it if you're shooting for the top.

Hello! New to the GMAT club and have been reading some posts. I have a few questions and a suggestion to those looking for strategies for getting into B-school. I came across this book, How to Get into the Top MBA Programs. I've found the advice very helpful in helping me organize my thoughts and am starting to put together my strategy.

Now to my questions - they mainly concern the GMAT:
- I am horrible at standardized tests...any suggestions for prep?
- Would you recommend taking a few math courses at a local community college?
- Views on prep courses such as Kaplan?
- Any good books for GMAT prep?
- Anyone in the Hartford, CT area looking for a study partner?
