Hello,
I would like to know if someone can help for the question as below?
Let Pi represents the probability that the ith decision appears success. Let E, specifying the location, (in which trial?), where the first success decision occurs.
a) Under the consideration of independence of the trials, find the probability that E appears in the nth trial. (explain)
b) Explain what meant by adding the probability in (a) up for n=1, 2,….,∞.( write the mathematical form for this sum)
c) What is the probability that E never appear.
d) Using (b) and (c) to formulate the mathematical identity (expression) of all possible outcomes.

First off, are these even GMAT questions? If they are not, please state so. We don't to confuse users who think these are GMAT questions and end up getting nervous about their preparation
