Hi Everyone,
I am a Indian female of 10.9 years experience in IT. I really want to crack Gmat with good score but i am not at all at par with both verbal and quants. I score mostly 11-12 correct out of 20 question in SC. And i often jump from one module to another.I have forgotten all concepts of Quants which I learnt in childhood. Basically it seems every module is my weak area.Could anyone please suggest a good plan or strategy ,how to get a structured way of studying or how to cover up the subjects.please note my working hours from 10 to 8.30 -9 pm . Please help me. I am really worried about my progress.

2. Take our free diagnostic test and receive a comprehensive study guide by topic. This test will clearly help you understand your weak areas. You can also connect with our expert one to one for a complimentary session to understand the score better. There are also many free materials available in GMAT Club
3. We recommend that you must learn the Variable Approach for solving DS questions and the IVY approach for solving PS questions in order to improve your accuracy and save time while solving the question types.

5. Also, make a note of various possible combinations to achieve your target score. The possible scores will help you track your performance after taking the mock or practice test. Hi DG2020.
I understand that balancing work and studies can be very challenging. You need to have a proper study plan which helps you stay motivated right till the end. Having proper deadlines and dedicating a few hours every day for studies will help you stay disciplined. As your work starts at 10, I think you can finish off you studies during the early hours of the day.
What should be the plan?
I suggest you to first take an official mock and see where you are standing. This will give us a base line to start with. Once you take a mock, you need to analyze it to understand your weaker areas. After doing this, the ideal way to prepare is to:
- Learn the concepts (Deal with one topic at a time)
- Learn the right methodology to solve questions of that topic (Most important)
- Solidify your learning by practicing a few questions
- Move to the next topic only if you get at least 80% accuracy.
- Repeat the process for all the topics
- Once you are done with all the topics, start taking timed quizzes
- Once you feel confident about the concepts and the methodology, start taking mocks.
- If you consistently get your desired score in a couple of mocks, then you are good to book a slot.
How to make a proper study plan?
Having said that, making a study plan which meets your requirements is really challenging. Organizing the concepts, looking for solutions and making an error log will eat up your time. And as every individual has unique requirements, a generic plan doesn't suffice. So, we have come up with something called a personalized study plan. This will address your requirements by taking into account the number of hours you can dedicate for studies in a week and then preparing a study plan based on that.
