Hi,
I am Prithwish and I am new to gmatclub so if this topic has already been covered in any other thread I am very sorry.
My profile details:
Xth- 89.6%
XIIth- 80.5%
Graduation (B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering)- 81.0%
TOEFL: Scheduled on Nov 17, 2013
GMAT: Scheduled on Nov 30, 2013
Professional Experience: 19 months (at Tata Consultancy Services as of October 2013)
It would be very helpful if I can get any guidance as to whether the MiM degrees are any good at all. It is a concern because if I have to go for the degree I need to be sure of a good return on Investment as I intend to repay my loans at the earliest. Also with my experience(2 years by the time I join) and profile which B-schools in Europe or the USA should I target.(I am quite confused as to whether I should go for an MiM or an MBA) Please help me as to what sort of GMAT and TOEFL score I should target as to obtain a scholarship.
As for MiM I have prepared a shortlist of colleges which I intend to apply to:
HEC Paris
EM Lyon
IE Business School
ESCP Europe
Essec
Edhec
Vlerick
I need to know what are the sort of job oppurtunities on offer after completion of the course. Also what sort of GMAT score is required for obtaining a scholarship.
Final question of mine is regarding Visa issues. I have heard from various people that obtaining a work visa in Europe is tough. I intend to work in Europe for a few years before I come back to India. So I need to be sure that I can get a job as well as a visa to stay and work there.
