Plz can any one suggest me how can i improve my score.I had taken the GMAT on April 11 and i scored less than 300 (Q:13 V:10) which was very disappointing part.I had prepared for GMAT more than 3 months, studied 3 to 4 hours a day starting 2 months and 5 to 6 hrs last one month.I had taken few practice test scored b/w 350 to 430,my goal was to get at least 500 above to apply for near by school.I had used only OG 12 for preparing since don't have any other source.I'm an dependent housewife from india & i did my MBA from india in 2013.I'm unable to score more than 20 in Q and 18 V ( i'm from a non math and my first language is not english) :(

OG12 can only be used to practice questions. It doesn't "teach" you concepts. You need to check out Math books from 8th to 10th standard. Also, you can use purplemath.com and khanacademy.org. Thereafter, you will need to get a complete curriculum of a test prep company. You should be able to bump up your score to 500+ with these resources.

Hello shasara,

It depends on how the time studying was spent and whether or not you've taken enough practice tests. It's very important to find the right balance between reviewing relevant content areas and also practicing questions and incorporating question strategies that work for you. I would definitely use the OG as you did, and also be sure to review the questions you missed from there and why. But also don't forget to make use of the assortment of materials that are available online, including the questions in this forum. It seems you should focus on Verbal and Quantitative sections equally to start. I can't unfortunately provide more specifics without knowing more about the sections and question types that you missed in the most recent exam.
