My wife only likes the ones where there is action. She hates when they basically become wrestling/bjj matches. I agree most of the time, I cant stand one someone just holds the other guy down to out point them.

When there is a stalemate on the ground or in the clinch, it definitely gets boring. However, I've been training BJJ for about 3 years now and I definitely appreciate the ground stuff. For people who aren't familiar with it I can understand why it might look "boring", even when there actually is a lot of technical stuff going on. Watching a display of great grappling excites me way more than knockouts.
