I am freaking out with my practice results.
Sometime, I got 80% + in some RC practice but sometime I got 50% in other RC practice. So, I am totally lost where I stand. Could somebody help me. Give me a plan of attack on RC please.
Thanks
What practice tests are you taking? If you are taking Kaplan, then don't worry about it - their tests are a lot harder than the GMAT and I have heard that their RC questions are NOT at all representative of the real thing. I would suggest taking Princeton Review and Powerprep tests and see how you do. Also try the RC strategies in the PR book (Cracking the GMAT) - they're excellent.
Hi Lucy:
I took PC's review. What do you think.
What do you think the verbal practice period be last for? A week or so.
Any other suggestion of books?
Thks
What's PC's review? Are you referring to Princeton Review?
If you're scoring 50% in RC I would practice for as long as it took to raise it to a percentage you're more comfortable with. Definitely more than a week - just keep at it and it will click.
