Hi. Congratulations on your admits!
What internship are you planning to recruit for? Would your target employer be in LA?
There are not many corporate offices in LA besides the gaming companies and all HQ's are in Bay Area or Seattle for the tech giants at least, so I think while LA is great for smaller firms, the best opportunities and jobs are not necessarily there. I don't see anyone from HBS or Stanford or Ross going to LA for a job for example but I can see how it may depend on your employer of choice.
At the same time, tech is in a big trough right now for recruiting, so hard to judge and seeing even the top Programs such as Kellogg and Sloan and Ross struggling to place people into the desirable roles so most of your recruiting leads and opportunities will be personal referrals and accidental connections you make irrespective of the program you go to (unless you can persuade me that Sloan and Kellogg and Ross can't do something USC can). But if the pendulum swings back, everyone irrespective of the program and school should be able to find a position so again, USC does not win in my view.

Hi everyone,I’m an international student with 4 years of experience in digital advertising. My post MBA goal is to work as a Product Manager in a tech company, especially on advertising products.I’ve been admitted to CMU Tepper with almost 80% scholarship, and USC Marshall with 60% scholarship. Now I’m stuck because CMU offers more money and is better known for tech, but USC is in LA, which is great for tech jobs, but the scholarship is smaller.Which one do you think I should choose? I’d love to hear your advice. Appreciate your help! 😊
