Hi there,
I have been preparing for some time now and have scored the following on my practice exams thus far.
MGMAT CAT#1 - 530
MGMAT CAT#2 - 610
MGMAT CAT #3 - 560
VERTIAS CAT - 550
GMATPrep #1 - 460
I am really nervous as the GMAT prep#1 was my most recent.
While comparing amount correct for the MGMAT #2 and GMAT prep, i scored in terms of correct/incorrect as follows;
MGMAT #2 - Q & V (42/78) - 610
GMATPrep #1 - Q & V (43/78) - 460
These are quite close, why such a spread in actual scaled score?
If the GMATPrep a true indicator of where i'll likely score?\
I'm getting nervous...any suggestions to help me get the 550 i need for the Bschool i am applying for will help.
I have one full day to go...please help!!!

Hey biggie22.
First of all, I think you're reporting the percentages of questions you got right and not the scaled score. Scaled score is always in the range of a 0-51. And in terms of GMAT Prep, I'd definitely say that's the most accurate indicator. If you can post your actual scaled scores that might be helpful.
Also. It seems like you're doing better in verbal than quant. So I'd suggest going over the OG12 and reworking any problems you had trouble with. Maybe use the MGMAT flashcards to review all the fundamental concepts. But most importantly, do not freak out! A lot of people stress out too much and this inadvertently affects their performance a lot more than you think it might.
So, good luck! Do the OG12. And definitely go through Number Properties and Sentence Correction if you have them. Just skim over the concepts and try to do a few more practice problems. Don't cram in one day as that can have a negative effect as well. If you're not in a hurry, you can maybe postpone the test or retake it after a month in the WORST case scenario.
