Hi,
How to prepare for GMAT. I am from India and currently targeting M7 (2 year program)
Acads -
10th - 74%
12th - 65%
Engineering - BIT Mesra (Absolute GPA - 7.67 / 10) - Among Top 50 in a batch of 650 students - 2010
Indian CAT (2009 - Score) (For IIMs in India) - 97.8%ile
Exp - 1 yr in in Consulting in ZS Associates. 4 yrs in Setting up own startup.
(Never appeared or prepared for any exam/test since 2010)
Target - M7
Took a GMAT Mock test using GMAT prep along the weekend (first GMAT test ever and with 0 preparation), got a score of 610 ( Q/V/IR - 48(78th percentile)/26(41st percentile)/4(37th percentile)). Kindly help me with a plan to prepare for GMAT, targeting 750+ score .
All the help is highly appreciated

Since you posted this in another Forum on this site, I've copied my response from there:
The M7 Schools are all highly competitive, so beyond having a strong GMAT score, you have to make sure that you have a strong OVERALL profile AND that you present yourself in the proper way.
That all having been said, a 610 is a good 'baseline' CAT score (the average score on the Official GMAT hovers around 540-550 most years). To score 750+ though, you'll have to make some BIG improvements to how you handle the Verbal section (and you'll probably need to 'squeeze' a few more points out of the Quant section).
I'd like to know a bit more about your overall situation:
1) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
2) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
3) How much time can you commit to studying during a typical week?
