Hi alisterdarrel88,
Thank you Rich,
Kindly find my response below. My exam after 2 week is a baseline for xam for me. My real target of 650 i wish to achieve by end of march(march 30)
1) Have you taken these 3 CATs in a realistic fashion that 'matches up' with what you'll face on Test Day? If you have not, then it's possible that these scores are unrealistic and 'inflated.'
Yes the gmat pret cat and
mgmat cat was taken with ir and awa under timer just like the original gmat test
2) These scores are so consistent that 'your way' of studying has possibly gotten you 'stuck' at this score level.
There is a good chance for this!!!
If your GMAT is in less than 7 days time, then it's too late to pay to reschedule it. If your Official Test Date is actually more than 7 days away, then you might consider paying the $50 fee to push it back. At this point, it's likely too late to make any big changes to how you approach the Exam, but you should know that you don't need to correctly answer ANY questions that are too hard or too weird to hit your goal score. As such, your best 'move' when facing those types of questions is to 'dump' them immediately (just take a guess and move on) so that you can spend the time that you 'save' to work on the questions that are 'gettable.'
When you took your CATs:
1) Did you take the ENTIRE CAT each time (including the Essay and IR sections)?
Dec 20 gmat prep cat 540 q 38 v28
Mgmat dec 8 530 q 38 v 26
Mgmat dec 20 540 q 40 v 26
Yes the gmat pret cat and
mgmat cat was taken with ir and awa under timer just like the orginal gmat test
2) Did you take them at home?
Yes at home
3) Did you take them at the same time of day as your Official GMAT?
3 test was taken with 2 weeks gap each
4) Did you ever do ANYTHING during your CATs that you couldn't do on Test Day (pause the CAT, skip sections, take longer breaks, etc.)?
No i didnt
5) Did you ever take a CAT more than once?
Had you seen any of the questions BEFORE?
No question repeated as i took 1 cat from gmat prep and the other other 2 was from manhattan cat
GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
