Hey guys, hope everything's well!
It's been a long time that I've been here to practice and exchange about different ways of solving questions, however, I'm getting stuck and it truly hurts my hopes to get my desired score, and I'll need your help to make my dream come true!
Background:
I'm a French student in my 3rd year of bachelor in international business, with a quite poor maths skillset (Used to have the lowest scores of my class until my second year of high school) but a decent verbal (I can achieve 65-70% completion for 600-700lvl questions in CR & SC).
I've been studying GMAT lessons for a while now (Only started seriously since May), but with huge breaks (1-2 months).
The thing is, no matter how hard I can study, I feel like there's always something to learn, and it just kills my hopes. I've tried several preps, the best one in my opinion being gmatprepnow (Brent, if you read me, you absolutely rock!!!), but I still can't achieve confidence and regularity in my performances + retaining the knowledge!
My strength is my quickness: if I know what a question looks like, I solve it under a minute, max max minute and a half.
My weakness: Quant as a whole despite having very basic knowledge and interpretation: I think word problems, geometry and algebra are the worst, while combinations is tough but mostly cus I don't remember anything!
You can find attached my gmatclub error log stats and estimated score (despite not having a lot of faith in that tool due to its extreme variations)!

Did you ever gave a official mock? If yes, then share your score. If not, then I recommend you to plan this test as early as possible to know where you currently stand. https://www.mba.com . I hope the course which you are taking is useful in improving your score. If not, then you must talk to the prep company and it will share you some strategy and plan. Apart from above, it is time to prepare and learn basic fundamentals of maths. You can refer to Khan-academy and learn basic maths. There are session as a game. Word problems, algebra and geometry covers most of the exam and you cannot not leave them as your weak spot. First focus on fundamentals, re-do them and then take the easy questions and subsequently rise to medium-hard level. When we know our weakness, we should work towards improving it slowly and patiently. I am sure it will take more time but you can do it

I actually haven't taken any diagnostic test, because of my anxiety: this thing is a real killer... However, I know I'll make it next week cus I need a start and a direction...I hope for a 500, but I won't make myself get any illusions, and I'll make sure to get it in real test conditions (in my school's library, everything turned off and left at my place, free of everything for 4 hours, but I don't care about neither AWA nor IR, my target school wont look at it)!
When it comes to basic maths, my problem isn't to learn but to remember, and I have to find a way to overcome the overwhelming feeling of having to know everything: however, I know that algebra is my main weakness, so I'll make sure to give it a boost on the following days or weeks!
