I would appreciate some help in drafting a plan to increase my verbal score on the GMAT given my current struggles (please see below).
I just did my GMAT exam and got a 600 (Q47 V27).
On the official prep exams I scored: 1. 590 (Q45 V27) 2. 680 (Q47 V35) 3. 690 (Q45 V39) 4. 700 (Q50 V31)
Overall, I studied for a week: 1 day dedicated to Quant and 5-6 days dedicated to verbal. I did not sleep very well before the exam (not sure if that was a decisive factor...)
My main struggles on Verbal are:
A) Timing: Verbal - I usually do the verbal part until question 26-27 and the rest I have to guess. I spend 1.5-2 min per question on SC. 2-3.5 min per question on CR. 1-2 min per question on RC (but I take 4-7 min just to read the passage). Quant - I usually reach question 27 and guess the rest.
B) Sentence Correction: I tend to get 2-6 questions wrong on this part (excluding the questions guessed).
On Critical Reasoning I only got wrong c.2 questions per exam. On RC never got >1 question wrong. (excluding the questions guessed)
Time management is my main concern here since that is preventing me to accurately answer to up to 9 questions per exam. Would appreciate some help here, ideally splitting time management improvement strategies per type of question.
Would also be useful to get some insight on how to improve Sentence Correction (apart from doing a lot of OG exercises and the 4 Exams, I did not do much more here).
I am open to any prep course that may be an appropriate solution for my current situation.
Thanks a lot in advance.
Cheers

The best way to get faster at Verbal is to become stronger in Verbal in general, as you can by learning some strategies for answering the different types of Verbal questions and practicing more.
For some tips on how to improve in SC and get faster at Verbal, see these posts.
Consider using question/time markers for time management. For SC, memorizing commonly tested idioms could help boost that part a bit as well. If you share the ESR (after wiping any personal info), people may also provide some specific suggestions.
Forum Quiz might assist. Need to practice topic-wise, and to learn from the Explanations posted by the Experts. Best of Luck.
