Hi,
I recently took a diagnostic test at edvento and I scored a 450(q36v18). I am planning to take gmat in februray for MiM courses in europe. Is 3 months preparation sufficient for scoring 700+. I intend to take course in e-gmat for verbal, is it good for verbal preparation for non-natives? One last question, Is
manhattan GMAT guide for quant sufficient to increase my quant score to a decent level or should i take a prep course for quant as well.
Thanks in advance to everyone.
Yes 3 months is definately a good time for prep. However, a suitable marker of your current status would be GMATPrep software. You can download it from mbacom. It comes free. It is the closest thing to GMAT possible.
Once you give this test, it will give your current scores and you can move further from there.
Manhattan books are a great resource for GMAT prep. For quant and verbal both, esp Advanced quant and SC books are awesome. You should surely go through them.
Also
e-gmat course has its merits. I have heard people swear to its efficency to improve verbal score.
Regarding GMATPrep software, once you take it now; it will possible to reset the software and retake test at a later point of time, so you can use it multiple times.
The first step towards your prerp should be to understand how gmat works ( no of sections, no of ques in each section, how complexity inc, etc).GMAT Prep 1 will tech you all this
Good Luck
