Help with Improving GMAT Focus Score (665 - 695/705?)

Hi everyone,

I recently took the GMAT FE Practice Exam 2 and scored 665 (V85/Q83/DI81) after ~5 weeks of studying (mostly prepping Q and V, very little DI). What's the best way to get this up in the next 3-4 weeks before my official attempt?
 
 Is it more worthwhile to focus on improving my Quant or DI score? 
 What are the best resources for DI? 
 How should I prep so that I don't lose my verbal knowledge between my practice exams? 
 How many more practices should I look to take before the official test?

You could do the following:

- Keep strengthening weaker Quant areas one at a time, possibly using the method discussed in this post.

How to Master the GMAT Using the Streaks Method

- Work on Data Insights. Practicing Data Insights will help help you maintain your Verbal skills since many Data Insights questions are similar to Verbal questions.

- Keep practicing Verbal, both untimed and timed. When practicing Verbal untimed, seek to achieve close to 100 percent accuracy. Any time you miss a question, figure out why you missed it and address the issue.

Since you play to prepare for three to four more weeks, you could take at least three more practice tests.

In general, fair to say including official questions into a prep path would be a solid choice. Consider checking out the main Official 2023 guide as well as the Official DI 2023 guide. E-versions are available to purchase, too. You can also use the online question banks of the Official-Guide(s) to create timed practice sets. If you focus heavily on DI and Quant, mixing in some Verbal prep could also be helpful to avoid it becoming a bit rusty.

To improve your quant skills, you may find it helpful to engage in topical quant practice.

For example, let’s say that you want to practice Number Properties. You can do so by answering 50 or more questions just from Number Properties: LCM, GCF, units digit patterns, divisibility, remainders, etc.

After each problem set, thoroughly analyze your incorrect questions. For example, if you got a remainder question wrong, ask yourself why. Did you make a careless mistake? Did you not properly apply the remainder formula? Was there a concept you did not understand in the question?
