I think u should spend more time to analysis what make u loose so much time when u solve a question. Is it wasted caculation on nothing related? Is it the time spent to read the question?...

Also, a kind of rule of dump is at least to last the same amount of time that u spend to solve a question to analysis what went wrong even if u got the right answer.

Good Luck again ! :)

Hey thanks for the suggestions. I'm currently analyzing my mistakes to plug in the holes in my knowledge. I think I waste too much time on DS. Do you have any tips on speeds for DS problems?

Thanks for the replies by the way.

Well, to me there is no magical formula for it :)

It's developping a mechanical approach to the GMAT DS questions. That's possible only by practicing. That approach is not only specific to each test taker, following his/her background and his/her weaknesses but also to each kind of questions recieved on G Day such as number properties, XY plane, probability or word problem.

Sorry if it's going to an opposite way of what u are looking for....

Others, what are u, guys, thinking about it? :)

I only have one time saving advice with DS. That is, realize that the purpose of data sufficiency is to know whether or not you can solve the given problem with the information given. In other words, you don't actually have to solve all the way to the finish.

Right. I've found I get bogged down while thinking about the possible cases. I'm going to post some questions in the math forum and include my approach and where I got bogged down and ask for suggestions on how I can shorten my critical path to the answer. That's the best thing I can think of right now.
