1) How long can I take to write the GMAT again??
You generally want to give the school a few weeks to re-evaluate so the sooner the better at this point
2) Will they wait for my score or update on my profile for 6 weeks if I send them an update after 3 weeks saying I have progressed in my job and ask them to hold on??
I doubt it, consolidate your update if possible but re-taking your GMAT and improving your score will be the key
3) Would a new job offer strengthen my profile now ??
Eh, most likely not unless it is a role that really aligns with your career goals. The GMAT will be mostly what they want from you
