You'd love it? You got it!
I think overall you have plenty of good stuff in your profile. And although your GPA is not stellar, you have very good reasons why not and you worked hard to make up for it with an alternative transcript (did someone say "optional essay"??? ).
Overall I find your school list to be both ambitious and realistic.
The only thing which doesn't necessarily make all that much sense to me is your explanation of why you are waiting until round . I mean unless you are guaranteed to have some colossal success in the next two months, it might be a better idea for you to start working on 2-3 applications and get those in in R1, if you ask me.
Things seem to be in good shape on your side, dude....
