If you had read my post you would see i reccomended mgmat for verbal. Many people (including myself) consider mgmat to be the "bible" for SC on the gmat.

Thank you for the caution.

Hi all,

Could you tell me more about the MGMAT weak points ?

As a very beginner, I am learning with them for the moment and I am quite satisfied (simple and clear explanations).

I also use the bible OG 11th (of course :) ).

I will study with Kaplan 800 and Kaplan 2006 in the coming weeks (plus several tests) before taking GMAT on Dec. 18th

My target is 650 - 680.

Do you have any advice ?

Thanks in advance !

hey sebzen!

yeah, i wanted to see if anyone had any complaints about the manhattan gmat books before i went out and spent a lot of money on them too! i was on amazon looking at reviews and found a good deal of complaints aout their math and also their verbal books. someone said their math books have long and cumbersome techniques and someone else who hated their verbal book so much they had to return it. i dunno. oh, and then i ran into someone at the library who had studied with mgmat and did their 2 week bootcamp (think that's what it's called) before taking the gmat and was really disappointed in her scoring on the sentence correction. she said it didn't prepare her at all. i'm confused too. people talk really highly about mgmat but then i also see all these complaints. guess i'm skeptical. i'm gonna see what else is out there. let me know how you like those kaplan materials - i was def gonna check them and manhattan review's materials out so keep me posted...
