I am currently working as software engineer in a reputated startup with more than a year of experience in India, I wanted to pursue MBA abroad in good business school . I tend to get 2 yrs+ of experience then I will start applying in schools . I was wondering if switch my domain to business analyst for the next year, will it help more for my profile to get selected ( so 1yr software domain and 1yr analyst) or should it be 2yrs of software domain only ? Which has more probablity of getting selected and help me more?

There are obviously a number of different factors for a School's Reps to consider when deciding who to invite to attend that School, but since you're interested in one specific aspect, you are ultimately asking an Admissions question. As such, you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile and plans. Those Experts should be able to answer your Admissions questions and help define the specific areas of your profile that could use some improvement. There's a Forum full of those Experts here:

1) What Schools are you planning to apply to and when are you planning to apply?
2) Have you taken the GMAT yet? If you have, then how did you score (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?
