Do you know if schools usually look more at a Quant score than a Data Insights score, or such a percentile is like really a red flag in an application, despite a strong Quant, and good Verbal?
Thank you very much ! :')
Hi agathe.ele,

I agree with bb: it's the total score that most schools focus on. However, you could also reach out to your target programs and ask them whether your DI score is likely to be an issue.

Considering that retaking the exam isn't an option, I'd just go ahead with the application if I were you, without worrying about that DI score.

Hi guys !
I just took the GMAT Focus today. I scored 605 (so 650 on the old GMAT), and don't have time to retake as the deadline is next week for round 4 MiM applications.
I scored high in Quant - 86, 91st percentile, but veryyy low in Data Insights, 28th percentile. I compltely ran out of time and had to answer randomly the last 8 questions. I never scored this low in any mock, I really ran out of time and panicked.
My score was literally destroyeddd by this Data Insights performance lol (I got 83 in Verbal).

@agathe.ele I would like to differ slightly from bb and ajitesh. If your are looking at the MiM courses in Europe there is a good chance you will make it even if the overall score is not very high, but the score is balanced, which means that your quant score is better than expected even if the verbal or DI is not. But as a caveat I want to say that it also depends on your demographic and nationality. I would suggest you speak with the adcom POCs and have a candid discussion. If you are native to the regions where your target schools are situated (and not from competitive pools), there is a high chance your DI wont be that big of a concern. I am saying this because once an adcom member for a top B school in the EU told me they look at the individual sections of the GMAT and make a holistic decision based on your education background and everything else.
