Commarades,
This is my fourth attempt at the GMAT and my highest score has been 640 thus far. My other 3 attempts resulted in 490, 570 and 600. Unlike most people on this forum, my quant. score is my achilles heal. The most I have made on it is a 39 (57% percentile).
I would love to get into a top ten school but I realize that my GMAT score is definitely a weak spot. I majored in Information Systems and Technology at a well know historically black college and graduated with a 3.2 GPA. I am currently working on a Masters in Information Systems and Technology(estimated GPA upon graduation 3.8+) from a well known East Coast university.
I have 5 years of IT consulting experience with a major software vendor where I led several projects and gained multiple promotions. In the last year, I started my own independent practise and have been serving clients successfully since.
My questions are: should I retake the exam to try to get over the 700 mark or should I focus on other aspects of my application?
Thanks.
J-Man
