I have been paying a lot of attention to the posts in this forum but i never actually posted myself until today when i finally decided to do it.
I have recently finished applying to 9 programs in Business Administration with a focus on Strategic Management or International Business.
My profile:
-Female, age 25, Romania-Eastern Europe
-Bachelors(the best university in the country) 2002: International Business, undergraduate GPA 9.52 out of 10(scale 1-10)
-Masters(same university):Foreign Trade-in progress;graduation date: May 2005;
-4 months internship with NAFSA (National Association of Foreign Students Advisors)-Washington, DC
-18 months training program in Management and Business Administration with SIEMENS North America, NYC
Work experince:5 years in the travel/airlines industry, certified IATA agent
-participation in professional seminars and trainings
- very good recos from 2 professors i worked with (Head of Finance dept and Head of Economics dept)+ 1 from the program manager in NYC.
TOEFL:300
GMAT:680(took it twice, first time scored 580)-talked with univs they all take the highest score.
The univs: Duke, UNC Chapel Hill, George Washington, Emory-Goizueta, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Univ of Georgia, Univ of South Carolina, Vanderbilt.
What do you think about my admission chances? From a geographical perspective, Atlanta is my target city+ i like the program and profs at Tech and State.
