Got an admit e-mail from HKUST and I am beyond ecstatic. I thank Aviroop who has done a tremendous job in patiently answering our questions!

I more than happy to answer questions related to the interview and the application. FYI.. I am an R1 applicant.

I do not think there is any hope left for those who applied in Round 2. If you have not already heard from them, it is most likely that you have been dinged.

PS - I am a dissapointed Round 2 applicant. Praying that my above statement is rendered false.

Long time lurker, first time poster. I am an American round 2 applicant who was accepted yesterday. As for my profile, I come from a non-profit/education background. For the past two years, I have been working in mainland China, and prior to that, I worked for about two years in Latin America.

I'm really looking forward to meeting those of you in the 2013 intake! And of course, good luck to the rest of you who are waiting on the admissions decision.
