Paul, you did Kaplan CAT before right? How did you feel about the level of the test on the 3rd try? Because I did 1st and 2nd Kaplan CAT about a month ago and I felt it was really hard. However, when I do my 3rd one, I am so relax and of course get better score. Is that because of the software or just me?

For the essay, I just think as I am writing an email and nothing more than that. I agree that 30 mins is not a lot of time.

I remember my comfort level with CAT tests(kaplan it is) heightened after doing many of them. It is precisely what CAT tests are intended for and it is a good sign of your comfort with them. As for AWA, other than a few jotted notes, I would never spend time writing the whole thing before typing it; it's too much time consumed. Just type as you go.

I agree that jotting down a brief outline is the best way to handle the writing section.

on my side , I find Kaplan still very difficult compared to OG. I tend not to make mistake at all with OG for both : Q & V. However once I move to Kaplan my top scores keep capping at 640 to 670.
That does not help for your own confidence ! Is this normal ?

Besides, and so unless I have not found the clue, it seems that we can t see the corrections / correct answers of our CAT. This is annoying cause I once i have finished my CAT, feel that I moved through quite well and when results pop up I don t know where my mistakes are from.

If I am wrong, please let me know how to reach the correction of CATs.

Lower reported scores on the Kaplan tests relative to PP is quite typical.
