Yes, many people do that, though they do a series of topical target series to practice arithmetic, or combinations or geometry. We have a number of resources that allow you to pick the topic and difficulty (e.g.
here is one).
However, you want to make sure you cover the topic before taking that question otherwise, it is a wash/waste of time to try to solve a probability question if that topic is not something you covered or are comfortable with. That's why it would be silly for you to take any tests if you have only been studying for 2 weeks.... if you had to study to be a pilot, I don't think they would let you fly after a few weeks

Finally, make sure you time yourself. Otherwise, go for it!
