Sorry for this horrible experience. I have heard many students faced issue while appearing online. That is why I choose to give exam at the center. Initially dates were not available but after everyday login to their website, I finally got a date.

Well done, unfortunately it's not a choice for me right now. I am in a small Ontario town and the mass transit schedules are not good so getting to the nearest big city to take the test is impossible. Also test centers are running at best 50% capacity

Another update..I spent close to 3 hours with Pearson CSRs and also sent them multiple emails and got a Case ID created. They were helpful and agree that it was not my fault that OnVue had glitches. They seem open to rescheduling if I'd like. The consideration for me is whether I want to reschedule the test on their dime and go through this mental agony of rewriting the GMAT or wait to find out a score, which could be lower than my potential but perhaps not as bad. I am presuming that they'll reschedule the test on their dime bc they implied so by saying test s/w glitches are not my fault- moreover I reminded them of their commitment to deliver the test in a professional way. I was torn until an hour back, and then over a long walk I was able to recall at least 4 quant questions, which I got wrong on the test but were easy enough that I could solve them in my head without any scratch work. My test performance was def impacted by the check-in fiasco! So I might be better off, not knowing my score at all. It would only serve to dent my confidence. ATM I am leaning towards rescheduling the test for next week, even before I find out the score from the test today. Couple of things I have concluded: Pearson is very well aware that their S/W is a piece of work, and they know their will be x% of students who will be a casualty of this. So if you face(d) the issues I did, don't be afraid to put the onus on them. Second, go through the GMAT policies and procedures. In my case Pearson and GMAC didn't fulfill two of those and I let Pearson know of that. This is the kind of corporate jargon that holds them responsible so make use of it to make your case. I had the two relevant to me pasted here along with how I made my case using those but I am not allowed to post any links right now. So have a read and keep at it. I will post more updates. Excelsior!

I spent an hour and a half with Pearson CSR, to requesting a reschedule. They advised me to contact GMAC, on email and phone to get a waiver from the 16 calendar day policy to reschedule. Once GMAC approves, then Pearson will provide me a voucher to reschedule GMAT.

No other product or service is sold like this in the world. But this is exactly how monopolies work. Yes we screwed up our policies and procedures of test delivery but we will not amend the situation ASAP. You suffer some more because you need the score. And people think I-banks are the meanest ones. B-Schools should look into this whole scenario played out bc of covid, and do away with GMAT scores. There's enough of an evidence of a candidate's potential based on their grades, recommendations, work experience and personal/professional achvmt. If not split up GMAC before splitting up Google
