GIVEN: Hose A can fill ONE tank in 5 minutes
So, Hose A can fill TWO tanks in 10 minutes
Hose A can fill THREE tanks in 15 minutes

Hose A can fill SIX tanks in 30 minutes
How many tanks would Hose B fill in the time Hose A fills 6 tanks?
In other words, " how many tanks can Hose B bill in 30 minutes?"
GIVEN: Hose B can fill ONE tank in 6 minutes
So, Hose B can fill FIVE tanks in 30 minutes
Answer: C

Solution:
- • Time takrn by A to fill one tank =\( 5 \)minutes
- o Time taken by A to fill \(6\) tanks=\( 5*6 = 30 \)minutes
- • Number of tanks hose B can fill in \( 30\) minutes = \(\frac{30}{time \ taken \ to\ fill\ one\ tank}\) =\(\frac{30}{6} = 5 \)tanks
