Hi All,
I am new to this forum. few weeks back I took a diagonstic test (gmatprep 1) and scored 630( V-31 and Q45 ). After 3 weeks of going through
manhattan books I took manhattan cat 1 and scored Q44 and V34. The verbal score surprised me. My accuracy in RC has dropped significantly dropped from around 80% accuracy (10/13--right in gmatprep1) to 45% accuracy (5/12-right in manhattan cat1). I can realise that manhattan quant was tough compared to gmatprep.
But how accurate are
manhattan gmat verbal scores to actual GMAT ? The passages in
manhattan gmat were not that difficult but the answer choices were. In all the 7 questions which I answered incorrectly I was struck only between 2 ans choices and most of these questions were inference type.
Is there a way to pick a right answer when one is struck with only 2 choices especially for inference type questions? If so please suggest.
Thanks,
harikris
