I've taken Manhattan CAT to familiarize myself with computer-based-test.
My scores are 700 (M47 V38)
710 (M47 V40)
710 (M47 V40)
750 (M50 V42)
I found that some people say that Manhattan CAT scores are pretty reliable.
But I also found some people that got over 700 on Manfattan CAT but got around 650 on real GMAT.
Now, I am afraid what if the same unfortunate situation happens to me?
It's my fourth try.
My score has been stuck around 650.
My goal is over 700.
Especially, I am concerned about verbal scores on Manhattan CAT.
I feel like they are too generous.
How would you think about verbal scores on Manhattan CAT?

I read somewhere that GMATPrep score has a standard deviation of 30. This means that if your score is stuck around 720, your highest score in REAL exam is 750 and your lowest score in the REAL exam is 690. With MGMAT, the standard deviation is 60.
I also find the verbal scores on MGMAT a bit too generous. But I guess the test makers just want to emphasize the fact that the verbal part of one's score has more of an impact than that of the quant. This is just my theory. Hope people could chime in on this.

From my experience , the OVERALL score of the MGMAT tests are fairly reliable . However the sub section scores don't seem to correlate well with GMAT prep scores .
The quant section of the MGMAT tests is harder than the quant section of the GMAT prep tests . And yes , the verbal section in the MGMAT test is scored quite generously . Not only that , the verbal section is also quite harder in the GMAT prep tests especially SC . Finding splits in SC is much harder in the GMAT prep tests than in the MGMAT tests .
